This is our apartment. The pictures uploaded in the wrong order... but they should all be here. I have lived in the apartment with my wife for the past five years and we love it. We have an 11 month old baby and things are now getting tight which is why we will be renting it out and moving so that our daughter can have a bedroom of her own.

The apartment is a one bedroom on the 6th floor of a doorman/elevator building on Bleecker Street between Mercer and Broadway, one block from the Broadway/ Lafayette and Bleecker Subway stations.

I don't know the exact size but I think it's a little under 600 square feet. It has an updated kitchen (stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher) and bathroom, and we will be replacing the heating/ air conditioning unit before January. We recently put in Closet Factory closets in both the bedroom and front hall. Washer and Dryer are shared (you pay using a debit-type card) and located down the hall on the same floor. Garbage / recycling service and maintenance charges are included.

The building is a very clean, nice co-op with friendly doormen, porters and maintenance people. Any maintenance issue or problem they fix the same day and are very good about it. They are currently building a community room/ party room in the basement and there is storage available for rent in the basement as well.

The co-op only allows for 1 year leases (renewable in 1 year increments after that), and it will be available February 1st (or a few days before). Because it is a co-op, there is an approval process where they require a credit report, the latest W2 form (or Federal Tax return if self employed), an employer reference letter verifying salary and length of employment and three reference letters. The board also has an application processing fee of $300, a move-in fee of $200 and a $50 refundable move-in deposit to ensure no damage is done to the building.
